PWP week of June 11 – June 17 23
I’m sorry this post is late.
Another great week. I could take 6 months of weather like we are having. Minus the mosquitoes. A little bad with a lot of good is ok. The highlight of my week was a trip to a Scandinavian festival. No airplane tickets involved. A friend and I drove to the site of the festival. Coming home was a bit dicey. The highway was being worked on and the signs weren’t put back up so I missed our turn. Figured it out before we went to far and thanks to Google maps found the right road. I have included a few teaser shots of what we saw. Will post a blog of all later in the week. Besides a bit of culture we have rain drops on clover, a high stepping robin, clouds, some late blooming lilacs. My Grandmother lived in a small town which had big lots. One side of hers was filled with a hedge of yellow roses. I am lucky enough to have a yellow rose bush, which reminds me of her, so this week we have some yellow roses. A barn swallow rests from driving Josie nuts. Remember to watch for the Scandinavian blog. For those of you who follow my posts, I try and have the content posted by 9:00 (CST) Sunday AM.
