Crocuses 2025

Each year I say no more. For 25+ years a dog and I have gone crocus hunting so I have more than enough photos of these cheerful little flowers. This year was no different. I have more shots to add to my collection of these spring blossoms. I’m sharing this year’s addition. I hope you enjoy them.  Click on the image and then right click to move thru the gallery. PWP week of May 7 – May 13 23

This week if all about spring. It’s here. Trees are greening up and grass is green in most places. Caught some crocuses before they left for another year. They don’t last long. Next will come the roses. On the way home. i caught a sea creature in the creek. Not sure but I think it was a muskrat. I took the camera with my Lensbaby on it out for some shots. A couple Mourning doves hung out in the yard for awhile. Also a fox decided to have a nap in the manure pile. Till next week. PWP week of Apr 30 – May 6 23

This week if a feast week. I have lots to share. The usual environmental shots are included. Things that have caught my interest. How man flavors of milkshakes can there be? The lovely little purple flowers are out. Chase and I went hunting them one day Geese are on the move. The shot of Chase and Ninja was taken from a distance thru a garden window to is on the soft side. I included it because I liked it. Caught a shot of the famous V formation. Of course there are shots of dogs and horses. What really padded this weeks post was a visit to the Water Fowl Part in Regina. It was mainly Canadian geese but did find a couple of duck, some pigeons and a rabbit went scooting by as I was leaving. I have never seen red catkins before. Was told they grown on either a poplar tree or aspen. There was a goose feeding in the water and it could kept it’s head under for a long time. Enjoy. Crocuses 2022

For 20+ years I’ve hunted crocuses just south of where I live. Thru the years I’ve had different 4 legged companions. This year I had a new companion. Chase accompanied me on my journery. My heart ached for the ones that were there but only in memory. Life goes on. Another change is I decided to take artistic shots. I carried my lensbaby lens with various optics. I hope you enjoy the images I was able to create. Click on the image and it will enlarge, then arrow thru the gallerymusing on the arrows on either side.
