Southern Priaire Railway

The month of September was brought to an end by going on a “Women on the Go” tour.  We traveled by bus to Ogema SK.  Once there we toured the Deep South Museum.  There was a lot to see but time was short.  Next we boarded the Southern Prairie rail train and began our journey.  Top speed was 20 miles per hour. The turn round point was at the ghost town of Horizon.  Returning to Ogema we were served a wonderful  fowl supper provided by Candice Schwindt.  Afterward we boarded the bus and returned to Regina.  I hope you enjoy the small sampling of what I saw.  Lots of wide open prairie!
