Exploring the World – One Image at a Time

Cats

PWP week of Dec 17 – Dec 23

We are having such beautiful weather it feels like Easter not Christmas. Are you ready for the day? I enjoy seeing all the different ways and decorations on display this time of year. A small town Saskatchewan has a wonderful light display. The night I went in not all the lights were turned on. Josie and Chase took time to pose for a Christmas picture. Maybe next year’s Christmas card? I caught one of Chase sleeping, as he breathed, his whiskers moved. Horses eyes are truly windows to the soul, I enjoying capturing them. The last photo before Christmas is one of Bandit dressed for the season. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas.

PWP week of Nov 12 – Nov 18 23

This week’s content is a bit different. Still my photos but they are photos from previous years. The photos here are shots used for calendars for bygone years. Hence the fancy borders. It was bitter sweet going thru the files. Brought up lots of memories, some of them sad as I still really miss my four legged friends. We had a lot of good times. The shots with all the numbers on the bottom, are from my trusty assistance the trail camera. I did use my camera this week but the shots I got were Christmas decorations and no matter how the stores think, I think it is to early for Christmas content. Enjoy!

PWP week of Oct 8 – Oct 14 23

Frost on the pumpkin this morning. We’ve had a few mornings with frost. A fungi, I’m not familiar with the names of mushroom, but one decided to grow on the edge of our gravel road. It lasted for a number of days until someone ran over it. We’ve had some colorful skies this week. A lot of pink/red in the clouds. I was out with my dish soap and water combating the maple bugs and created some huge bubblies. They lasted a while too. As I drove down the road one morning, this beautiful cat was in the field. There were a couple of farms in the area so I hope it made it back home. Houses are starting to decorate for Halloween. I stopped to get a shot of one, I will see if I can capture more of the spooky creativity. Finally I was able to get a decent shot of the moon and a star thanks to a Udemy Night Photography course. Now I’m just waiting for a full moon. Of course there are dog pictures. Josie and her favorite ball and the pair of them posing. We’ve had some strong winds but the leaves are holding on so I keeping capturing them as one day they will be gone. Our resident fox and been traveling through the barn yard as this shot shows. I managed to shot a bit of variety hope you enjoy the shots. For those of you who follow my posts, I try and have the content posted by 9:00 (CST) Sunday AM. PWP Week of July 5 2020

This week The Boy and I were out and about.  We both like road trips.  We saw two large wall murals.  One was called “Market Day”, the other “Dinner in the field”. My peony bush has decided it is time to bloom.  It is about a month later than plants in the city.  I spent some time with one blossom in Studio 13 using different backgrounds.  I have a favorite  wonder if you will?  No barn would be complete without a barn cat and we have Barn Kitty, the tabby.  She decided to come out and see what I was up to.  We visited a man who I will call the Gopher Whistler.  He does his whistle and gophers come from all over for the bread he feeds them.  For him they are very tame.  The are cute but can cause a lot of damage.  Here are shots from our week, again, a bit of everything.  Hope to see you next week.
