Today Mother Nature is having a temper tantrum. Snow and blowing snow. Not too cold out just nasty. A good day to visit a street fair. The day I was there it was a nice warm day in August. The fair was held in Moose Jaw Sk. This is the first but not the last time I will explore the offerings. There was a lot to see, both sides of the street had something to draw a person in. Here is some of what I saw.

2019 is approaching very fast. I hope 2018 was a good year for you. There are not too many things I’d change if I have to live 2018 over, so that must mean it was a good year. It was a good year in a photograph sense. Saw and photographed some new things which I intend to share in the New Year. Indoor barrel racing; a street fair, a rodeo, horse pulling and trail camera shots. And there is always the unexpected. For several years, over 25, I’ve given calendars created from photos I took during the year, as gifts. Below are a few that shots that were used for 2019 calendars. The crystal one was a new theme but was appreciated and fun to create. I hope you enjoy the photos. I look forward to all the photo opportunities 2019 brings. Happy New Year to You.
Government House in Regina, SK is all decorated for the season. A friend and I spent an enchanted few hours exploring. I wish someone would decorate my house half as nice as the rooms we saw. I hope the following photos brings you magic also.
I spent a wonderful time at the Cathedral Village Arts Festival in Regina. So much talent!

One morning The Boy and I left for our morning walk and we were greeted with a surprise. The field just south of us was covered with herons. We are used to seeing a few but not a few hundred. It was truly amazing. As we watched more keeping flying over and landing. They stayed most of the day. The next morning the field was empty. And quiet. I did get some photos, so I know we weren’t dreaming. Enjoy.
The Boy (my friend and protector) and I went crocus hunting today. We found a few and some other interesting sights.
If I were a fish, I’d want my owner to ask Lisa or Jame to provide a home for me. No they don’t run a pet store or operate an aquarium store. The Village Merchant is an import store in Grenfell, SK that they own. It has amazing items but it a fish’s heaven. Lisa and Jame import hand blown glass mounted on drift wood bases, from Bali. Each one is unique and different. You won’t find two fish living in a like bowl. Of course the bowls can have different uses if you don’t own a fish. Use your imagination. They import more wonderful items along with the bowls. I’ve attached some photos of just a few bowls they have to offer. The month of September was brought to an end by going on a “Women on the Go” tour. We traveled by bus to Ogema SK. Once there we toured the Deep South Museum. There was a lot to see but time was short. Next we boarded the Southern Prairie rail train and began our journey. Top speed was 20 miles per hour. The turn round point was at the ghost town of Horizon. Returning to Ogema we were served a wonderful fowl supper provided by Candice Schwindt. Afterward we boarded the bus and returned to Regina.
