PWP week of Oct 29 – Nov 4 23
I hope everyone had a fun safe Halloween. This week is another mixed bag. Weather wasn’t great. We had sun, freezing rain, fog and snow. Time to set up Studio 13. I’m not a cold weather kind’ve gal. The magpie and coyote were taken by my assistant the Trail Camera. Hope you enjoy this weeks’ offering.

PWP week of Sept 17 – Sept 23 23
Wow, one more week in September! This month has gone by in a blink of an eye. Lots of colorful leaves this week. We’ve been having strong winds and the leaves are falling fast so I took advantage of the remaining one as I don’t know how long they will be hanging around! Had company one day this week and we toured a couple small towns. I don’t know what the Lady in White represented but she looked nice. There are always treasures to be found. We’ve had a fox going thru the yard setting the dogs off. Could be one that was raised here in the spring. Usually they don’t come back. My assistant – the trail camera caught a couple shots of it. Not Geographic quality but nice to have. It was a quite week, which I know I will have more of, so I persuaded a couple models from the toy-box to work with me. We have some birds and of course dogs – both Chase and Josie. Enjoy! For those of you who follow my posts, I try and have the content posted by 9:00 (CST) Sunday AM. PWP week of Aug 20 – Aug 26 23
Late again, I apologize. It was National/International, I saw it as both, Dog day so I was working on a good shot of the kids. I ended up using one I’d taken with my phone awhile ago. However, you get to see a few of the practice shots. Chase is turning into quite the model. Close to home there is a field of buffalo, I’m sure you have figured that out by now. The bull was close to the fence on one of our drives and he is BIG. I don’t understand why the tourists in Yellowstone want to get near them. The buffalo are scary. So are the tourists. There must be a colony or gathering of Mourning Doves along our route, as there are always a lot of they flying around. I did manage to get some on the fence as you will see. Road trip, road trip. Went for a Sunday drive with friends and ended up a flea market. Lots of goodies. If you ever come upon Fuller Moon Walker bath salts and like baths. Buy some, they are wonderful. That’s it for this week. Enjoy. For those of you who follow my posts, I try and have the content posted by 9:00 (CST) Sunday AM. PWP Week of July 30 – August 5 23
Wow — the weeks are flying by. Summer is half over. Sad to say but I’m starting to see signs of fall in my area. Golden rod is blooming; bull rushes in full glory, leaves are changing colors. Our two hummingbirds, which you’ll see, seem to be fueling up. All way to early. This week includes shots of — dogs, Josie and Sassy, the moon, lentils – does anyone make lentil soup. This is what they look like before they reach the pot! I’ve included a few shots from a Mid Summer festival I attended. Great day. A couple tracks to see if I have any trackers following me. Pretty easy to figure out. I don’t know if is the time of year but the skies lately have been gorgeous. One lone horse photo and this would be of my boy Quill. Hope you enjoy this weeks selection. PWP Week of July 2 – July 8 23
It was a decent week. Nothing exciting, no major trips. Josie was the model of choice this week. She did well. Loves the water as you can see. Scruffy dropped by and allowed me to dress him up with glasses. It was a pretty bright day. Of course during the photo shot the wind decided to join us and ruffled his hair some. He tolerated that as well. Chase figured he should join in. Guess he figured someone was taking this job. The beautiful quilt was a gift from a friend and as it was wash day and the sun was out, it got to hang out on the line. Someone drew cut images a side walk in town. Wonder if anyone plays the game. I took the shots of the beautiful flowers on a trip into town (the furthest the went all week). That’s it for this week. Not exciting but pleasant. PWP week of Apr 16 – Apr 22 23
We have another good old storm the end of this week but no pictures will be posted. That season is over. I did get some shots of the spring run off before the storm. Josie loves the water. I did get a shot of angel wings and wonder if they belonged to my Guardian Angel. The one I keep pretty busy! And the same evening a jet flew over. I always wonder where they are off to when they pass over. This week you meet Scruffy. He is a mixed terrier breed. He had just escaped from the toy box and we stopped at the Conservatory. The Conservatory is always a great time. Having a new friend along made it extra special. Hope you enjoy this weeks offering. PWP week of Mar 19 – Mar 25 23
What a week! It was one of those weeks in which Life throws things at you. And I missed. I though I would have to restore to archives for my post but miraculously I was able to get brand new shots to share with you. We had two visitors this week. A bald eagle decided one of our tree was a great lockout post. It hung around for quite awhile. Our next visitor was Truffles. He was on his way to the family sty and needed a place to rest. He was quite agreeable to having his photo taken. One of his wishes or dreams was to have a picture taken with a wolf. I guess he heard the story of Little Red Riding Hood. I told him there were no wolves around at the moment by Chase would gladly fill in. Which he did, very well. No one was injured during the photo shot. I didn’t realize Easter was getting close until I visited a friend and saw all the decoration. I guess the chocolate candies in the stores should have clued me in. Once again I was able to get photos of the moon and Venus and the moon stopping for a rest. I passed the wreath on a walk in the city and thought it was kind’ve neat. And a partial portrait of a dog. Hope you enjoy my offering for this week. For those of you who follow my posts, I try and have the content posted by 9:00 (CST) Sunday AM. PWP week of Feb 26 – Mar 4 23
Already into March. This week went by fast. I’m still trying to get good shots of the moon. Had better luck this week. A special guest dropped by the ranch this week. MK from the Meerkat Colony stopped in to see us. He visited the horses. Received a kiss from Katie. The horses weren’t sure what to make of him. He and Chase had a talk, probably about what is see while he was here. He covered a lot of ground while he was here. He is a bit of a cheeky fellow. One morning we had crystal frost which is always fun to capture. For those of you who follow my posts, I try and have the content posted by 9:00 (CST) Sunday AM.
